Sue Ryder International (SRI) is a network of not-for-profit organisations delivering specialised health and social care in partnership with local communities, governments, the public and the private secto. We work alongside people living with chronic and progressive conditions and are currently active in 8 European countries and southern Africa. SRI takes its name and inspiration from the life and work of its founder - Baroness Ryder of Warsaw who pioneered the development of health and social care services across Europe. Today, over 30,000 people benefit directly from the care provided by the paid staff and many thousands of volunteers associated with Sue Ryder’s name.

Sue Ryder International CZ (SRI CZ) is an independent legal entity registered in the Czech Republic and it operates as an Implementing Agency for Czech Development Cooperation and other projects funded by major donors.
At the same time, SRI CZ acts as the European Regional Office of Sue Ryder International (secretariat of the SRI network), working in partnership with the UK. SRI CZ combines fundraising responsibilities, strategic programme development, project management and capacity building for specific projects and advocacy responsibilities. Mission of Sue Ryder International is to support member organisations to shape national health and social care policies and deliver effective programmes of care and to stimulate the evolution of health and social care in developing countries or countries in transition.

Sue Ryder International (SRI) je neformální sdružení neziskových organizací nesoucích jméno své zakladatelky, baronky Sue Ryder. Tyto organizace poskytují specializovanou zdravotní a sociální péči potřebným v 8 zemích Evropy a jihovýchodní Afriky to ve spolupráci s místními komunitami, vládou a dalšími partnery z veřejného I soukromého sektoru. Organizace Sue Ryder v současné době pečují o více než 30 tisíc potřebných lidí.

Sue Ryder International CZ (SRI CZ) je obecně prospěšná společnost registrovaná v České republice. Hlavními aktivitami společnosti je realizace rozvojových projektů a plnění úlohy regionální evropské kanceláře neformálního sdružení Sue Ryder International. V rámci tohoto poslání podporuje členské organizace v oblasti posilování jejich kapacit, fundraisingu, lobbyingu a rozvoje profesionální péče.
